Frequency / Location:
Reading room: Daily 8:30 – 11:30 AM at the FS campus
Library: Mon, Wed and Fri 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the FS campus

Whenever you read a good book, a door opens to allow in more light. The Petit Library promotes and encourages healthy reading habits amongst the Fatehganj residents. The library has three components:
(1) Public Reading Room began in October 1972. It provides newspapers and magazines every day from morning to evening for people who live around Fatehganj and is free service to them;
(2) Petit Library began in March 1973. The library operates 3 days a week and has a nominal annual fee for the library that enables more people to use the library. Membership varies between 100 to 200 members; and
(3) Study Centre began in 1978.

It houses books, periodicals and journals on various subjects. The library is used as a study facility by school children who do not have adequate space to study peacefully in their homes. There are more than 7,000 books in three languages – Hindi, Gujarati and English.
